A really unique experience! Unfortunately, the sea was quite rough, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the snorkelling. However, seeing the seals swimming around us was still amazing! Our guide (Angelo) really went out of his way to make the best of the conditions and ensure we had a good experience. - Maud

Swimming with the seals in Plettenberg Bay was a unique adventure that you simply cannot experience anywhere else. What was essential to making it such a success and giving me confidence was the excellent care we received from the Offshore Adventures team: from providing the equipment and giving us a thorough briefing to accompanying us during the swim and looking after us throughout the boat trip. Thanks to their professionalism, we felt safe at all times throughout the entire adventure. We had an absolutely brilliant experience with offshore adventures. Right from the start it was very well organised by guides who clearly care deeply about the environment they work in and respect the animals. Towards the end of the trip I started to feel a little unwell the guides looked after me very well and treated me with respect and understanding. Offshore Adventures gave us a great time swimming with seals. Although my girlfriend didn't go into the water and I did, the weather was rainy, the water was relatively murky, we had a blast! Angelo was a fun host that made us feel comfortable in the water with the seals by explaining behaviour and setting clear guidelines / rules. The seals themselves were so funny, they're like puppies acting clownish and they come so close, looking at you like "wtf are you doing here". Flipping under water, floating upside down with the tailfins out of the water, playing with our fins. They are also very comfortable with us in the water and I never felt a threat. The boat trip was fun too, the beach launch and landing were spectacular! Even with a little bit less favourable weather, still book a tour with Offshore Adventures. Because hey, anyways, you need to "Get wet in Plett"?! - Melissa
