Service Terms and Conditions

The hiring charge for the Club’s boat and equipment is payable on signature hereof.
All rights of admission to the Club’s premises and facilities and the use of the Club’s boats and equipment are reserved to the Club.
The Hirer shall be granted Temporary Membership of the Club for the day during which he has hired the Club’s boat and equipment.
The Hirer confirms that the boat is being hired for a maximum number of 5 persons. Under no circumstances may any additional persons board the boat. The boat may not be used to ferry additional persons up river.
The Hirer shall be entitled to invite guests to enjoy the facility of using the Club’s boat and equipment hired by him but subject to his control and guidance and the Hirer shall comply with all the Club requirements on the introduction of guests and shall be responsible for the conduct and actions of his guests.
The Hirer and his guests shall comply with all the reasonable directions and instructions of the Manager and the Club’s servants or agents.
The Hirer shall follow the instructions given to him on the handling of the boat and equipment and shall ensure that he is familiar with the operation of the outboard motor of the boat before leaving the boat moorings. The boat is supplied with an adequate amount of petrol for the planned trip. Under no circumstances may the Hirer supplement this with his own petrol.
The Hirer hereby indemnifies and holds the Club and Manager harmless against any claims of any nature whatsoever which he or his guests may have against the Club or the Manager from whatsoever cause.
The Hirer shall ensure that neither he or his guests shall conduct themselves in such a manner as to create danger or nuisance to other users of the Keurbooms River or Club or to litter the picnic spots.
The Hirer shall be responsible for any loss or damage caused to the boat or equipment and shall ensure that the boat and equipment is returned to the boats moorings within the hire period.
No portion of the hire charge shall be refunded to the Hirer once the boat has left the boat moorings.
No representations or warranties of any nature as to the condition of or the suitability of the boat or equipment for the purpose for which they have been hired has been made by the Club or the Manager.
24hour cancellation policy.
No dogs are allowed.
No persons under 16 years may operate a boat.
All persons 12 years and under must wear life jackets at all times.
BOATS ARE ONLY ALLOWED ABOVE THE BRIDGE
BOATS TO BE RETURNED TO THE CLUB BY THE PERSON MAKING THE BOOKING.
